Abstract

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine: to determine the quality of public services at the Regional
Library and Archives Service of Soppeng Regency, and what efforts are made to improve
public services at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Soppeng Regency. Sources
of data obtained by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis
used an interactive model (Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Inference and Verification,
Final Conclusions.The results of this study indicate that the quality of public services at
the Regional Library and Archives Office of Sopeng Regency is good, this can be seen
from the implementation of five dimensions of public services, namely: Tangible, reliability,
responsiveness, assurances.) and Empathy (empathy). The efforts made to improve
services at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Soppeng Regency, namely;
Planning (Planning), Organizing (Organizing), Actuating (Implementation), Controlling
(Supervision).
